What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

I was able to get a better view on other cultures and what they thought about the American culture. There is so much that I don't know about this world and this experience makes me want to be more informed and enlightened on the happenings in the past and present.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week?	With weekend trips to other countries I probably spent a couple hundred almost every weekend seeing as I was paying for flights, accommodation, food, experiences, etc.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants?	Just decide if you want to spend all your money on food if you're a foody, or if you'd rather budget that money towards experiences where you are participating in something, or if you want to buy a lot of souvenirs, or just walk around the area you are visiting.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?	I really enjoyed the St. Mary's small and quaint campus. Everybody was super welcoming and easy to get to know. The class sizes were smaller and I like that because it was then easier to participate. The orientation at the beginning of the semester was informational and nice to be able to get better acquainted to the campus and area before classes actually started.
* What could be improved?	Some of the communication was hard, especially with those in England while I was still in America preparing to leave. Tried obtaining my Tier 4 Visa for the internship over there but that was a super difficult task in which I kept going around in circles trying to figure out and there wasn't much help in regards to that.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program?	I wish I knew exactly how the credits would transfer back to my home university.

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.	The Avid Adventurer The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.

Comments:	Richard was very knowledgable about the Beatles and the counterculture. I highly recommend taking this class which helps in better submerging yourself into the English culture and background.
