My Second Home! Past Review
By A student (Civil Engineering., Villanova University) - abroad from 08/29/2012 to 12/14/2012 with
Villanova University: Galway - Irish Studies Program
I got to see a completely different learning style and worked on time management. I got to meet people and travel to places that I would never get the chance to do without abroad. I learned how to make the most of opportunities and deal with being so far from family.

She might be able to recover without a heart transplant but its going to be long process. I got to see her tonight and it broke my heart. She is so swollen from surgery and she is connected to so many tubes. I did get to see haevyns leg kick a little bit and got to hold her hand and saw her fingers twitch a little bit |

Comments: | I didn't feel like I was learning material that was really going to help me in my future in engineering. This class might as well have been two separate classes because neither of the two teachers communicated with each other and did everything separately but never really made that clear. I also felt disrespected and did not feel welcomed by one of the teachers. He was rude and condescending. He was not helpful or organized. He really just seemed like be didn't care about the students or how we do in the class. I feel like because he was high up in the department he could treat the students poorly and didn't really seem to care about the Americans in the class. I do not want this information seen by him and I want this personal but I felt like it is not right that this guy is able to teach this class. I studied hard and attended nearly every class with the exception of 1 class and I don't feel like it paid off. I'm kind of upset that my tuition went to someone like him. |
