I had a great time in Tanzania but it was a very hard adjustment going there.

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | The cost of living in Tanzania is very low so it was not very expensive to buy some food or go out every once in a while. |

Well I hadn't ever studied swahili so I was learned from nothing but the teacher there were all very helpful and willing to study with us. It helped going into town or out to villages where the people did not know english. I got the best practice then. |
