Short-term Japanese Program is organized and run by the center for Japanese Language Waseda University. The goal of this 3week or 6week program is to cultivate students’ overall Japanese language ability. Through the classes provided in different levels, students can study Japanese language according to their own abilities and goals.
Students take the classes 10units per week (summer course, 15units per week) for 3weeks or 6weeks and comprehensively improve their Japanese based on the text book. This program is aimed to mainly elementary level students, but in spring and summer, intermediate classes are also available. Additionally, during summer course, we offer skill-based subjects. The skill-based subjects are designed to focusing of the reading, writing, listening, or speaking skills and they are held 5units per week. Students for summer course are required to take both Comprehensive Japanese and Skill-based subject.
