What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that sometimes you never know how you are going to react to situation until you are put right in the middle of it. Only, then will you truly know.

I had to get many vaccinations or an upcoming trip. The program leaders helped me a lot in knowing where to seek help to get the vaccinations.

* Safety:

Always be alert. I always felt safe walking around on the streets, but this sense of safety never made me stop being alert.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Really, nothing. Everything that I learned from being abroad could not have been taught beforehand. The experience of learning I like to consider the purpose of it all.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
