While of course there were challenges in assimilating into a new culture, the program was very supportive and effective in learning another language. The social life was also amazing! Made great friendships.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I understood the approach to academics in France better as it was very different than my home institution and I felt ill-equipped coming into it.
