During the month of
July, the class will be in residence in Lyon for French language and culture
study (17-20 hours per week) at the Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises
(ILCF), part of the Université Catholique de Lyon. Classes will include a French
culture and conversation course taught by the WMU Faculty Director of the
program. Students will live with French families. They will
participate in a guided tour of the city and have the opportunity to explore
museums, monuments, churches, bistros, shops and many other exciting places.
Students applying for this program may be eligible for the Haenicke
Institute for the Global Education Study Abroad Scholarship.
