Australia was one of the biggest and most beneficial experiences in my life. Past Review
By Bowen Daileader (University of Rhode Island) - abroad from 09/03/2018 to 12/07/2018 with
World Internships: Australia Internships
I learned different tips, techniques and helpful tools that I will continue to use as I continue my education and further enhance my career as a health studies major. This trip abroad was well worth my time, and I would 100% go back again to continue improving my knowledge.

Healthcare was a nice safety net for myself. Very helpful. Didn't need to use it while in Australia. |

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
The experience was so unreal, that I felt like 3 months went by in 3 weeks. I was able to learn so much in my field, while enjoying the beautiful land down under. I was able to travel, meet amazing friends, experience cultural change and become a better individual overall. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Things were similar in pricing from home to Australia. Money management was big because while abroad, you want to do everything, all the time. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $150 +/- |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Take the budget you are willing to spend, and try to spread it out over the total amount of weeks you are studying abroad. Always have extra, safety money so you don't run out of money. |
