WorldStrides Study Abroad in Brisbane, Australia
Absolutly, I would not trade this experience for the world. I am so much more open minded and alot more independent. I have traveled to so many different places, experiencing many different cultures that makes me a more well rounded indivual.

Review Your Program
|
 * Overall educational experience
 Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
 Classes were too large, introduction course and only electives for me to get a great understanding of the material. |
|
 * Host Country Program Administration
 On-site administration of your program |
 Very helpful and useful, gave many tips about the country. |
|
 * Housing:
 How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |

No

  |
Finances
|
 * Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
 (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)  |

  |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I over spent alot. Probably spent about $3,000 a month for 5 months plus cost of apartment. Our group went out alot and did alot of traveling. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Try to eat in as much as possible, the first month or so I didnt want to shop so we ate out alot which adds up fast. |

Individual Course Reviews
| Course Name/Rating: |
Enviroment and Society |
| Course Department: | HHB127 |
| Instructor: | Dr. Peter Hastings |
| Instruction Language: | English |
| Comments: | Mainly about the geography of the earth and how affects the population and were they live. A lot of case studies that deal with problems from pollution to fast growing population. Pretty challenging course because more than just broad knowledge was needed. |
| Credit Transfer Issues: | Still abroad at the moment, grades still havent posted here. |

| Comments: | Larger class (about 400) but tutorials were about 20 people. A lot of group work in tutorial. No tests, all presentations and write ups. Most active class I took. |
