What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how important it is to enjoy life and not get so caught up in school. I am an overachiever, and living in the Spanish culture taught me how to relax. It was so worth it! I have adopted parts of the lifestyle into my life here in the U.S.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Definitely go to the intercambios that they have at many tapas restaurants! They are worth your time and you can make great friends.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew that I wouldn't need to pack as much stuff as I did. I didn't wear nearly as many clothes as I packed.
