My experience made me fall in love with traveling all over again. I gained so much from it that I am now considering working for a study abroad company myself!

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The teaching methods were somewhat different than in American schools and the grading systems certainly were as well. It took some getting used to but once I had adjusted I enjoyed the change quite a bit. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
They were there to help me every step of the way |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I think my housing situation was definitely ideal for any student studying abroad. I did not need to buy sheets, pillows, kitchen supplies or anything else, and I was right on campus - no more than 10 minutes walk from any of my classes! I also enjoyed a lot that there were a lot of local students in my dorm. I enjoyed being able to meet "real" Australians and to be able to go back and visit them whenever I want! |
* Food: |
I had all my meals included which was awesome. The food wasn't the best I've ever had but it was decent enough. Did not inhibit my experience at all. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The social and non-academic aspects of my program were the highlight of my experience abroad. I had a blast meeting mew friends, playing sports, going to the beach, going on vacation, everything! It was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
