What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned about the cultures and what is normal in England and in Germany while I also learned about myself. It was absolutely worthwhile and I would go again in a heartbeat!!!

I'm not exactly sure how much i spent per week but it could be very manageable to live on a student budget, just no shopping and souvenir buying!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Go to the local market or grocery store and buy salads or sandwiches and big liters of water--huge money saving tip!

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • how easy it was to go on trips and see historical sites
  • it was well organized
  • I felt safe in the dorm

  • the hotel we stayed at in Munich was in a sketchy area
  • it was a little too short!
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wasn't exactly properly prepared for the weather in London and I wish I had better shoes for London too
