What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to navigate one of the largest cities in the world and to not be afraid to ask for help while doing it. It was definitely worthwhile and definitely something I would recommend to all college students.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Don't rely on students who are already fluent in the language and take every opportunity to practice using anything you know, whether it is just basic greetings or conversational.
