My home country was not fully aware of the changes happening within the program, but my host country program administrators let me know what was going on.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Housing was ok,I lived in SK Global and it was new. There were lounges on every floor with a TV and mini kitchen.

* Food:

There were only about 3 places to eat on campus, so I usually went out and looked for a place to eat

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I went to Busan, and that was fun

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I had to go to the doctor to get medicine because I was sick, and it was a very easy process.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? each week I would say i spent about $150
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buying my own food, that took up a lot of my money

I TOOK A KOREAN LANGUAGE CLASS, SO I HAD TO PRACTICE SPEAKING AND WRITING THERE.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? take bug spray, be prepared to walk a lot, and don't be afraid to try and speak the language
