Youth For Understanding (YFU): YFU Programs in Colombia

Colombia only ever experiences summer. According to the World's Happiest Index, it is also the happiest in country in the world! As a YFU student in Colombia, you're sure to feel the happy energy as soon as you land.

All YFU students enter Colombia as a “visitor," which means that schools will only issue grade cards if students are able to follow and actively participate in classes taught in Spanish. YFU Colombia cannot guarantee that students will receive grade cards fulfilling the requirements of the student's home country school. Students should also remember that they may be placed in same gender (female only or male only) schools, which are typical in Colombia.
