Through the GCSU Study Abroad program, students are invited to explore international education experiences that blend academic inquiry with cultural exploration and personal growth.

Our study abroad portfolio includes faculty-led programs, exchange opportunities, and affiliated provider partnerships spanning Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Whether spending a summer studying literature in Oxford, completing a semester exchange in South Korea, or exploring public health in Belize, students engage with diverse global communities while staying aligned with their academic goals.

GCSU programs are shaped by our liberal arts mission—emphasizing critical thinking, intercultural competence, and real-world experience. Many of our offerings include service-learning components, research opportunities, or hands-on fieldwork that enrich the academic journey and foster meaningful cross-cultural understanding.

Students receive one-on-one support from the International Education Center, including guidance on course planning, credit transfer, scholarships, and pre-departure preparation. We are also proud to offer the International Education Center Study Abroad Scholarship, making these transformative experiences more accessible to our diverse student body.
