Our work starta in our Chicago headquarters and spreads across more than 130 study abroad programs in more than 30+ locations worldwide. With this network, we develop authentic global education and life-affirming cultural experiences. We believe that studying abroad should be a part of every student's academic life, and we aim to not only provide study abroad opportunities, but to consistently maintain a friendly, fun, and safe academic and cultural environment.
We believe so firmly in the power of our academically superior programs, that we actively recruit students from diverse populations and pledges more than $5 million in scholarships year after year. We are proud that our students are as diverse and exciting as the countries we study.

"Independence, backcountry skills, socializing skills"
A student Indiana University - Bloomington
"This study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. All of the classes were not only educationally enriching, but required hands-on work in some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Living with a host family helped me learn Spanish and learn about Ecuadorian culture in a way you ever could in a classroom. Overall, I ..."
A student University of Maine - Orono
"My French skills improved immensely and I gained a better understanding of French culture and also of people who are very different from me. Being abroad was definitely worthwhile."
A student Whitman College
"This experience was definitely worthwhile. I learned that time is valuable and to never waste a day, as there was always something to do there. I gained confidence when speaking a different language, even thought how bad it sounded or came off. I also learned that every culture is different and it really is special when you feel..."
Taylor Fairweather Ithaca College
"My French skills improved so much over the course of the semester. I am definitely not ow fluent, but I can successfully navigate day-to-day life in the city *en français*. I learned a lot about the differences between French and American lifestyles and cultures and gained a better understanding of cultural differences. I also l..."
Hannah Scripps College

Most times when people talk about Spain it's almost like it's history begins with Isabel and Ferdinand, but I got to learn about what Spain and especially Granada was like before Catholicism. "

Muyang Li Cornell University
"I learned to be more confident in my language abilities and that it's okay to make mistakes. I found that having local friends, though unexpected, was the best part of my experience. And if you have any faith background that is present in the home country, it is a very profound experience to be part of that while abroad. "
Sarah Walker Bowdoin College

"The classes were engaging and the small size allows you to interact with both the professors, which come from prestigious universities around France, as well as the students. Coming from a university with larger class sizes, this was something I appreciated. The classes also offered excursions; I went to the cinema with my Frenc..."
A student George Washington University
"There is so much to explore in Berlin. I definitely came home with better German and a lot more understanding about the city's history. I get used to the language and I can use it more comfortably. "
A student Lawrence University
"Definitely. I feel like a citizen of the world. I met people from countries I had never heard of and saw things I had only ever previously experienced through a travel television show."
A student University of North Texas
"When I was first leaving for abroad, I was very nervous about having to start over with many aspects I had already concurred in my home university. "I learned how to live alone! My home school has a meal plan that provided all my food. However, while studying abroad, you have to prepare all your own meals and just live alone. Also you're in a different timezone. It was worthwhile because it was the first taste of actual independence I've had "
