"I learned a lot about myself abroad. I learned how to take days for myself and go to a museum alone if I couldn't find anyone to join me when I was free. I learned how to live away from my family and friends and to be more independent. It was definitely worthwhile, everyone should study abroad. "
katie.samuelsen The University of Texas at Austin
"Studying abroad has been one of the smartest decisions I have ever made. When I was younger I was timid and shy, and as the youngest of 3, I tended to ask a lot of questions and didn't try to figure things out on my own. I am so thankful that I decided to travel abroad on my own, with no friends, because I wanted to gain the ind..."

"I took a lot with me from this program. I learned that learning a language is one of the hardest things a person can do, I learned a whole lot about myself, I learned when it's actually an earthquake or when it's just the bus rumbling the ground around it. I learned so much and it was absolutely worthwhile."
Emily Pennsylvania State University - University Park / Penn State

Thanks to the great technology we have now, I was able to frequently message and Facetime my family and friends and so I never really missed them. I loved living abroad and havi..."
