"Independance. Sure it was worthwhile. "
A student Trinity University
"I learned a lot more about myself, what I value, and what kind of person I want to be. I know that all sounds super broad and general but I really valued it."
Jesse Burnett Trinity University
"Australia was the most amazing experience of my life. Living in an apartment in Surfers Paradise was a great place to start "adulating". I truly gained a new sense of independence while living and traveling abroad. These experiences could never have been replicated by any other area other than Australia. I miss it every day and ..."
Kayla H Roger Williams University / RWU
"It was 100% worth the money, time, and effort it took to get to England. I learned how to take care of myself, how to learn my way around a new place without someone holding my hand every step of the way, and I learned how to be more open minded. Study abroad to me is not just about taking classes abroad, its about learning to a..."

"I learned how much I love to hike, surf and be outside and how I need to make that more of a priority in my life. I also learned how to be more sociable and outgoing. Before I was quite shy and it was hard for me to warm up to people, but I got over that when I was abroad. I went to the university not knowing anyone, and I ended..."

"My eyes have seen parts of the world I thought I would never get to explore! I am much more open to new cultures and new experiences. I've learned that I can be independent and successful in a new environment, and that getting to know people from different parts of the world can be enlightening and fascinating! "
Theresa L'Etoile Saint Joseph's University
"I gained a deeper sense of how to live on my own. I learned how to budget not only my money but my time. With a city (and country) full of things to do it can be taxing on your time and wallet. Learning this balance taught me a lot."

"Yes. Although I myself is from a whole different culture, the difference between western cultures, American and British (and also European, because I traveled a lot through western Europe) is clear and interesting to me. "

"It was very worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself, and how I operate, but I also learned how to put myself out there more and be more adventurous so I could take advantage of every opportunity that was offered to me. Now that I'm home, I think back on what I didn't do, and I'm somewhat frustrated with myself that I let trivia..."
