SUNY Geneseo is a program provider offering 24 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad and Volunteer abroad programs in 18 countries such as Costa Rica, The United Kingdom, France, and Ireland.
SUNY Geneseo offers students the opportunity to broaden their horizons and engage with the world through a wide variety of study abroad programs. With options ranging from semester and year-long exchanges to short-term faculty-led courses, Geneseo students can pursue academic, cultural, and personal growth in destinations around the globe.
Programs are designed to complement students’ majors and interests while fostering cross-cultural understanding, adaptability, and global awareness. Many courses are taught in English, while others provide opportunities for language immersion and deeper cultural engagement.
The Office of Study Abroad supports students throughout the process, offering advising, scholarships, and preparation resources to help ensure a successful experience. Whether exploring a new language, conducting research, or experiencing a different educational system, students return from study abroad with skills and perspectives that enrich their academic journeys and prepare them for success in a global society.
