USAC is a program provider offering 56 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad, Internship, Volunteer, Intensive Language, Gap Year, Research, and Online Program abroad programs in 24 countries such as Chile, The United Kingdom, Ireland, and Japan.
The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) has been providing students with quality study abroad programs for over 30 years. USAC is a non-profit, university-based organization with 53 programs in 28 countries. USAC offers summer, winter, semester, and yearlong program options. We pride ourselves on providing well-rounded, academically sound and credible programs in non-traditional locations or in unique parts of more traditional places. By choosing a USAC program, you have flexibility in the length and time of your study (short-term summer or January programs from three to ten weeks, to semester, trimester, or year options) and a wide range of courses to choose from, plus small class sizes, a multitude of disciplines taught in English, and language study at any level of proficiency from beginning to advanced and with no language prerequisite. Many of our locations have the option of intensive language study, where you can earn up to two years-worth of credit in one semester. USAC alumni give our programs a 94% recommendation rate. USAC is honored to be recognized as a Top Study Abroad Provider and Organization by our friends GoAbroad and Go Overseas for 2019.

Study Abroad with USAC
"I learned the culture and language of the French, as well as my own abilities as an independent woman. I learned how much I can rely on myself and how much I love seeing our beautiful world! It was one of the most worthwhile experiences of my life."

"I would never choose staying at my home university compared to studying abroad in Prague. The experience was truly amazing. Prague still holds an incredible place in my heart and even a year later when I close my eyes- I'm walking the ancient, winding, cobbled streets of Prague at sunset. Every inch of Prague is soaked in histor..."

"Going to Bilbao with USAC was a terrible experience. Both my housing and internship were botched because of the program administration, and I did not get the cultural experience I signed up for. However, the Basque country has a fascinating culture and the landscape is beautiful, even if it is rainy and cold. It's definitely ..."

"I have developed a much deeper appreciation of the small things in life. I thought I had that before I went, but experiencing life outside our norm enables a degree of reflection and change that just can't always happen on our day to day lives. "

"Of course it was worthwhile! Knowing what I know now, if I could do it again I would probably choose a program that would allow me to interact with local students more easily. But despite that, I learned so much about myself, still immersed myself in the culture with my host family and simply by living there for 4 months, and pe..."

"It was very worthwhile. I loved learning about Scottish culture and traveling to different places."
alli.lardner University of the Pacific
" I've FULLY realized that we are all the same, and cultures are just man-made. If i were born in China I would like eating cow stomach, and if i were born in Spain I would prefer kissing someone on both cheeks than hugging them. We are all the same, and our languages and cultures just bring out and emphasize different parts of w..."

"Study abroad lets you learn so much in terms of international culture, topics, and ways of life. The history of the many locations is also worthwhile. The amount of things I learned on this trip cannot be put into words. If I tried, I could probably write a novel."
