Through the guidance of its Center for Service and Global Citizenship, Deerfield offers a wide range of international programs designed to foster cultural fluency, service-minded leadership, and intellectual growth. Students in grades 10 through 12 have the chance to participate in immersive semester or yearlong programs abroad, continuing their rigorous academic work while fully engaging with new cultures and communities. In addition to these longer-term opportunities, Deerfield also leads shorter, faculty-guided trips to destinations across the globe. These experiences combine academic inquiry, cultural exploration, and service learning, ensuring that students gain a well-rounded appreciation of the world beyond their immediate environment.
