University Information
Go beyond borders and boundaries. Imagine studying art in Oslo, management in Berlin, or film in Florence. That’s just a sample of where IUP students have gone and what they’ve done, enriching their learning and themselves beyond measure. Through IUP’s Study Abroad program, you can immerse yourself in a foreign country, soak up new language and perspective, and come back to IUP with credits that count toward your degree.
You’ll have several different options for studying abroad through our Office of International Education:
* IUP reciprocal exchanges
* International Student Exchange Program (ISEP)
* IUP Affiliated organization programs like (Australearn or SAI, CEA, Amizade, AIU)
* Faculty-led programs
* Independently Arranged study
Students - visit IUP’s Study Abroad information sessions in the OIE to get started, and then decide on a destination and how long they want to stay—a summer, a semester, or a year. In many cases, program costs are based on IUP in-state tuition and fees, and students often can use their existing financial aid for the study-abroad program they choose.
