Studying in another country opens fresh perspectives on the world. The Study Abroad Program at LIU Post offers a variety of programs for those who want to pursue knowledge in stimulating settings far from home. Analyze Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon; study the Great Wall of China as you walk the fabled monument; research tropical fish in Fiji before meeting them in the ocean: the world is your textbook! Our students have the unique opportunity to study in London, Turkey, Thailand, India, Japan, People's Republic of China, Costa Rica, Australia or Taiwan through our affiliated foreign study programs, of which there are nearly a dozen, as well as Long Island University’s Global College. Students receive academic credit for courses and can apply most of their financial aid toward program costs, as if attending their home institution.
For most affiliated programs, LIU Post tuition will cover tuition abroad; room and board fees will vary according to the program. You can also study abroad and receive credit through non-affiliated programs. You can study such subjects as international business, foreign language, political science/international studies, broadcasting/communications, literature, fine arts, music, environmental sciences, and many other exciting areas of study.
