Long Island University (LIU) was founded in 1926 in Brooklyn, N.Y., under the guiding principle of educating and empowering men and women from all walks of life. LIU has grown into one of the nation’s largest private Universities, and remains committed to the educational needs and interests of its diverse student body. LIU offers more than 500 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs and certificates, educating more than 20,000 students each year across multiple campuses.
