USD Global Learning strives to offer students a wide variety of opportunities to explore the world, both domestically and internationally.
Studying away can be one of the most incredible and challenging experiences that you will ever have! Studying in another country allows you to learn about another culture, meet new friends, learn a different language, and learn a lot about yourself in the process. As the world gets smaller and smaller and the global economy continues to emerge, students today need experience in an international setting in order to succeed in today's world. Studying abroad can be a once in a lifetime experience that can help you succeed in the future.

"Studying abroad was absolutely worth it. As a result I have now returned to South America less than a year later to be a teacher in Santiago, Chile. Even though I had never been to Chile before, I felt well prepared because I had a great overall understanding of Latin American culture. Studying abroad was one of the best decisio..."

"France is culturally very similar to the United States. There is no culture shock. Still my cultural awareness was heightened by being able to discover the different history, goals, and political culture of the country. I also was able to learn the social problems that France and the United States share and those that are diffe..."

"I learned a lot, so I would still do it again, I would just pick another school that I would have had a better time at. Studying somewhere else was worthwhile though. It gave me a chance to try to meet new and different people."

"Maybe Otaru isn't Tokyo or Kyoto. But if you really want to get to know a culture more Otaru is a great place to start. The people I met are really the ones that made this experience so great for me, and now I know I will always have a connection to a small place in Japan. "

"This experience was very worthwhile. It gave me the opportunity to learn the Spanish language in a very unique setting. Living with a Spanish speaking home was both difficult and rewarding. I was blessed with roommates who were willing to help me with any difficulties I had and I did the same for them. It also gave me the unique..."
