"YES! It helped me gain lots of experience as an activist, but this wasn't helped or supported by IES or Wellesley at ALL. I did that completely on my own. "

Lori S Wellesley College
"My decision to study abroad was the best decision I have ever made. As trite as it sounds, it really opened up my world in a way that you can't get just from traveling. I lived in Berlin and now consider it a second home. "
Julia B Wellesley College
"No one will "baby" you on this program, so you have to be prepared to take initiative in meeting people. That being said, I really enjoyed that aspect of the program and it allowed me to do a lot that I couldn't have done on many other programs."
Caroline B Wellesley College
"Yes! I wish I went there full time."

"Yes. I learned new things about the culture that I had not experienced. I made many new friends, countless countless memories, and fulfilled my dream of living as a student in Japan. It has shown me also that although I love Japan, I don't think I would live there. Visit often, but not live."

"My study abroad experience was most definitely worthwhile! Studying in another country, particularly Ireland has helped to change my perspective in life and what is really important. Neera I Wellesley College
"It was great meeting people from France and other exchange students from all over the world. Paris is a very exciting city, but also expensive so it was difficult to participate in as many cultural activities as I would have liked. I gained a lot of independence through the experience."
