"One of the best decisions I made while in Seoul was to actively seek out a new experience every weekend, whether it be to go hiking, see a show, or just explore a new area of the city. Along with that, while living off campus was not planned it did provide me with a feeling of further immersion within the city. I was able to est..."

"I think I learned a lot about myself as a person because i was put into a foreign country without anyone I knew. It really tested my ability to adapt but it also let me learn new and exciting things about myself. I would definitely describe it as a worthwhile experience. I had the time of my life. "

"I learned a lot about Gothic art (one of my two classes), as well as a lot about London and British culture. Overall I loved my time abroad, especially the traveling part of it, but did not feel totally fulfilled by my academic experience. Most of my favorite experiences came from time outside of class, exploring London and trav..."

"I've learned to learn from and cooperate with students from all over the world. "The clinical portion of this program was great. Other than that, I think there's a huge need for improvement from both sides (wellesley and jacobs) in informing students of what will be provided and what won't be. There is serious improvement needed on Jacobs' side in terms of supporting their international students that I did n..."

"I definitely learned a lot about how people live in different countries (e.g. food, culture, habits, healthcare systems etc.). I also got to see a lot: I especially liked seeing the art, architecture, and landscapes of different countries. I also gained a lot of experience with planning when I organized travel plans. I also got ..."

"My favourite part about studying abroad were the different perspectives I got access to. I was able to speak with many Russians, and see how they live their lives and what they think about the world--I think it has made me a more open person!"
Sydney Hopper Wellesley College
"I went outside my comfort zone, and now my comfort zone is larger. I learned how to be grateful while others complained, and things don't have to be perfect to be invaluable. It was important for me to enjoy Germany, and I was happy to soak in their cultural quirks. In the face of adversities, I gained independence and resilienc..."
