"My biggest takeaway from the experience was meeting students from all around the world and learning from students who have very different learning styles. For example, on my developmental economics tutorial, I met a student who had a quantitative approach to solving weekly essay prompts. This contrasted to the qualitative approa..."

"The clinical practicum and biochemistry course for pre-meds was the academic highlight of this experience. Wellesley and Jacobs were also rather felxible in allowing certain classes to fulfill distribution requirements, which I appreciated. Though the academics at Jacobs itself was lackluster, the overall experience prevented me..."

"Buenos Aires feels like a fairly European city, but I did get more exposure to non-Western cultures and ideals, which I think was extremely valuable. I also became more willing to challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone and try things I never thought I would. It was definitely worthwhile, and I've been recommending the ex..."

"It was my first real opportunity to live on my own in a city and be responsible for my own meals, shopping, well-being, etc. I gained an extraordinary amount of independence and a real passion for self-guided study. My experience abroad was completely worthwhile. "

"Extremely worthwhile, it was the reason I changed my major from Neuroscience to Economics, and the exposure it gave through the mentoring program and through academics, of what development and international affairs is like in the real world, was unparalleled. "

"One of the best decisions I made while in Seoul was to actively seek out a new experience every weekend, whether it be to go hiking, see a show, or just explore a new area of the city. Along with that, while living off campus was not planned it did provide me with a feeling of further immersion within the city. I was able to est..."

"I think I learned a lot about myself as a person because i was put into a foreign country without anyone I knew. It really tested my ability to adapt but it also let me learn new and exciting things about myself. I would definitely describe it as a worthwhile experience. I had the time of my life. "

"I learned a lot about Gothic art (one of my two classes), as well as a lot about London and British culture. Overall I loved my time abroad, especially the traveling part of it, but did not feel totally fulfilled by my academic experience.
