What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
A gained knowledge of habitat management and conservation efforts in Scotland. Also, that Scotland also struggles with getting the public involved and aware of their surroundings.

This was a very different academic experience. It was mostly hands-on, which is a great way to learn about these subjects.

Except for the last week I didn't have many expenses. The last week I spent a lot on gifts for friends and family.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent probably around 250 for the entire trip
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy little gifts along the way, don't wait until the last week to buy everything.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? How much outside work we would be doing. I did not bring enough work clothes and found myself having to do laundry quite often.
