Natural beauty and heritage are at the forefront of beautiful, green Edinburgh, Scotland. Inland cliffs, freshwater streams, woodlands and grasslands provide a bountiful habitat and makes this the ideal Environmental, Horticulture & Ecology conservation summer study abroad program.

In the classroom, students will take part in courses like Conservation Skills and Habitat Management. Beyond it, students gain valuable field experience via field investigations, site visits, guidance from site managers and exposure to practical management techniques. With this hands-on knowledge, you get to learn about the surrounding environments, what it takes to manage and maintain horticulture and how to conserve the wildlife system. Such an opportunity only adds to your marketability in the future as a prospective Ecologist!

Let's not forget about excursions. Visits to local heritage sites such as Edinburgh Castle, the Isle of May, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs National Park, and more are included as well. Adelante's program primes students for a sweeping Scottish experience that will definitely last a lifetime.
