I learned how to slow down and enjoy the little things, and I realized I want to live abroad after I graduate. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Past Review Worth It
I learned how to be on my own, how to be so far from my family, and what "home" really means. Though it was difficult to be away from home, it made the experience all the more rewarding in the end. - Emerson College View Entire Review
I learned to follow my instincts and balance different aspects of my life. It was definitely worthwhile because it gave me the opportunity to completely remove myself from my "comfort zone," which is when you begin to understand who you are. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned so much from being abroad. I learned more in the past four months, than I have in my 20 years of living. It was absolutely amazing to see different cultures, and meet new people. I loved learning a new language, and being in a whole new environment. It was the best thing that has ever happened to me. - University of Hartford View Entire Review

I gained a sense of independence and learned how to travel on my own in both a smart, safe, and budget friendly way. - University of Arkansas - Fayetteville View Entire Review
It was definitely worthwhile. I went into the semester thinking I was going to love it and not want to come home. And that's exactly how I felt at the end. I gained so much more independence and confidence from my travels and studies that I feel a lot more prepared to enter the "real world" post graduation. I also learned how to... - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review

Past Review Oh Florence....
My study abroad experience was definitely different from others, especially since I completed an internship. I was super busy all the time and still had two classes so I think it is just different. A student studying abroad with AIFS: Florence - Richmond in Florence and Internship Program
I learned a lot here about myself and the world; I matured, and since this isn't my first study abroad experience, I also came to the conclusion that I will never be able to truly settle down in life. My home is the world - and I'm looking forward for more opportunities to explore it. - Colby-Sawyer College View Entire Review
This experience was very worthwhile. It is a time that I will always look back on and say, those were a few of the best months of my life. I feel even more culturally diverse at the end of this trip and more aware of how similar some of the situations are back home to whats going on here. I rated it 4/5 due to the fact that I ha... - Colby-Sawyer College View Entire Review

I learned so much about the Italian culture. Everything about the program was worthwhile. Not only did I learn so much about Italy and its people, but I also learned so much about myself.
