Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The intensity was fine. There was plenty of work to do, but it wasn't superfluous and there was sufficient time to complete everything.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The administration of the program was alright. The tutors were terrific! The beginning of the term and end of the term get togethers could have looked as though there was a little more planning involved.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I did not use the provided living arrangements.

* Food:

I did not have a meal plan.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

This was great! I found a wonderful church where I met and spent time with people from all over the world.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not use the healthcare system.

* Safety:

The safety was fine as long as you pay attention and don't do stupid things.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It's does not apply to me.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I had no meal plan and I was paying for a flat so this would be significantly more than the traditional student.

Individual Course Reviews

Course Name/Rating:

20th century British literature

Course Department: English
Instructor: Allan Johnson
Instruction Language: English
Comments: The course was challenging, but not so much that it became a source of stress. The field trips were fine. They contributed to the literature that we read and helped us gain a better understanding of the material. The teacher was knowledgable and very well prepared. He always had enough discussion topics to get us through the class without it dragging. The in and out of class exercises were also appropriate and helped us in our paper writing and exams.i participated in this class more than I have ever participated in a class before because of the small size and the excellent environment. We were assessed by a paper, exam, a couple of short assignment, and class participation.
Credit Transfer Issues: My credit hasn't transferred yet so I don't know if there will be problems.
