The biggest thing I learned was really how to understand different world views without assuming that the American view is the correct view. I gained a lot of confidence in myself and the people I met and the experiences I had benefitted me in jobs when I came back to the states. - University of Colorado - Denver View Entire Review

I learned so much about Croatian culture and history, and I have a greater understanding of European perspectives regarding major events such as wars, - University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh View Entire Review
A lot about myself having gone to a new program without anyone from my host school, and a lot about living in a foreign country. There are many perceptions of people from the US and it takes integration and mingling to discover that many stereotypes are inflated and a bit whacky both ways. - Champlain College View Entire Review
