What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that I can be independent and it is okay to go out and do something that makes you nervous. Everything I did was worthwhile.

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
Individual Course Reviews

Course Department: | Archaeology |
Instructor: | Professor Stavros Oikonomidis |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | This class was amazing because it was mostly taught outside in different areas around Athens. It gave me a better understanding of what I was learning and the history surrounding these different areas. Professor Stavros was extremely knowledgable and he answered every question anyone had. I felt that I participated more in his class than at my home institution because of how comfortable I felt with him as my teacher and my other classmates. We were assessed usually by writing a short analysis on a topic we were talking about once a week. |
