About
Advance your photography skills against the gorgeous and unparalleled backdrop of Iceland as you chase the light across cityscapes, countrysides, glaciers and volcanoes.
The sheer beauty of Iceland is your subject on this photographic journey of a land that’s more green than ice. Spend three weeks making your way around the Ring Road that encompasses the island, capturing on camera the magic of Iceland's incomparable beauty. Get diverse views, from the peaceful city life of Reykjavík to the natural beauty of Mývatn, Jökulsárlón and plenty of other places you’ll learn to pronounce soon. Go horseback riding along the southern coast, walk on glaciers, spot puffins, and get lost in the long vistas of lava fields, rushing geysers, glacial cliffs, warm lagoons and soft, rolling hills that seem to last forever.
Throughout your excursion across this Nordic country, receive advanced advice for manipulating exposure, composition and lighting in order to capture Iceland through the best images possible. Accumulate a vast body of work on your expeditions before heading indoors to study Photoshop and Lightroom. Build on your existing skillset as you master image editing, color correction, retouching, compositing and different artistic techniques. Break for a few final adventures—whale watching in Húsavík and kayaking among the fords near Ísafjörður—before presenting your work to the group. Finally, leave the land of fire and ice with a professional-grade portfolio to make even the most seasoned photographers green with Iceland envy.
