I learned that Costa Rica is a gem of a country. The people, the culture, and the natural life are really incredible. I also learned a good amount Spanish that you would not necessarily learn in a classroom, especially colloquialisms. This program was definitely worth every penny. I have a totally new outlook on life. I love speaking Spanish now. I learned so much about how to communicate with complete strangers and how to become more independent. I intend to go to Conversa again in a few years when my Spanish gets rusty. Jessica Rodriguez - Trinity University View Entire Review

I definitely improved my spanish speaking and listening abilities, but I could have accomplished that in any spanish speaking country. The people here are very concerned with outward appearances and money, but not the students. Skylar M - Saint Bonaventure University View Entire Review
It was definitely worth it to improve my spoken Spanish skills. Also, I really enjoyed getting to see the amazing country of Costa Rica. It is a country rich in nature and extremely beautiful. I also liked seeing how the local culture and customs were different from the U.S. There were lots of little customs that were different.... Hanna H - Truman State University View Entire Review
