What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
As a future medical professional, this experience left me shocked, inspired, and eager to continue pursuing medicine. I was able to observe several physicians working in extremely low resource settings, which is an experience I will never forget.

  • The on-site coordinators were excellent and professional
  • The program in Delhi is well-rounded

* What could be improved?
  • Some of the sites felt redundant
  • Communication about practicum timelines
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It is extremely hot in India and there is little to no AC anywhere. I found I got slightly more out of site rotations as a medical student compared to my undergraduate peers.
