Of course! Not only did I get a better handle on the language, but I also pushed myself to step out of my comfort zone and have fun while traveling and exploring novel cultures. A student - University of the Pacific View Entire Review
I became so much better at speaking and understanding Spanish. I also got to learn cultural quirks and colloquial expressions I would have never learned otherwise. I also fell in love with Spain and its language. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was all worthwhile. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself. I realized how strong I was and how much I have to offer. It was definitely worthwhile and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Aliya N - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Amazing Spanish skills, huge personal change (improvement I hope), a chance to travel the world, an appreciation of little things in life. So worthwhile. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review

It has made me a global citizen. It has left me with an international state of mind. I can't really describe how this experience has changed me in a short summary. You just have to go see for yourself. Andrew V - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Yes it sure was worth while Yanely M - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I chose this one because of the homestay option. I don't like to go partying and this way I would be able to use the language and hear it all the time without placing myself in an uncomfortable location. Anastasia D - Hamline University View Entire Review
I really want to continue improving my spanish, it made me realize how important and amazing it is to be able to communicate in 2 different languages, It really opens up so many opportunities. Also, the Spanish culture is alot more relaxed and it made me really take a step back from what i used to consider important, i was alwa... I got to learn so much about myself, the culture, the language of Spain. While I was abroad, I also got to walk the Camino de Santiago, which was a huge part of my abroad experience. My study abroad experience was more than worthwhile. Mi Z - Berea College View Entire Review
It was the most experiential, and beneficial semester of my life. I highly recommend this program, especially in the Fall semester because you get to show up and go to the beach everyday after class. Dennis A - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Definitely worth it. I learned a language, and I learned about a culture through that language. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I learned things about myself that would not have been possible without this program, and I gained the best friends anyone could ask for. It was worthwhile times 10. Sublime is the only word suitable to describe my experience. Kevin S - Northeastern University View Entire Review
I saw great and new aspects of family life and a social norm unlike the typical suburban culture found in america. I have always loved to travel and I admit studying abroad was a great excuse for me to visit over 7 new countries and locations. This summer I will be applying to mostly interships out of the country. Bret K - Purdue University View Entire Review

My eyes have opened up to the opportunites that the rest of the world can offer you. Julia F - Purdue University View Entire Review
I'm glad to have an understanding of how another culture works. I wasn't a big fan of the States before I left, but spending time in Spain made me more aware of what I do like about living here. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Spain, but I sorely missed my job as a counselor at Camp Longhorn the entire time that I was there. Caroline V - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. I gained a lot of independence and appreciation for another culture. Samantha S - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
My study abroad experience was very worthwhile. It was my first time in Europe and I feel like I got a good feel for Spanish culture. I wish I could have stayed longer and learned more Spanish. I learned that the world's a bigger place than I previously thought and I have much more to see. Jason C - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I gained more self-confidence and the trust in myself to do what I want. I gained appreciation for everything and not the sense of letting things bother me when they are trivial. Erene A - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
