Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was a great experience. It was a good balance of school and work. However I feel that we spent too much to and from school some times 1 to 2 hours going to school and back that was 4 hours out my day that I wasn't doing anything but sitting on the bus.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

My host country was AMAZING!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The host country was great but the host family wasn't that good. The lady that I was with didn't really take me in. She was an amazing cook but she was not friendly AT ALL. It seemed as if she just wanted me to stay in her house for the money she got.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

We had many cultural and student activities we went on a catamaran, wine tasting and more. The student activities were so much fun!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The safety was handled highly we were always told to walk in groups and not by ourselves at night. And we had access to a university doctor which I took advantage of because I got sick more than once.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Bring your toilletries from back home!!!! They are extremely expensive in Europe

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Comments: The class was good. I didn't really think I learned as much as I wish I could've learned. I think we needed a more concrete class. We would go into class without knowing what was planned. However over all it was a good class.
