The structure of classes was that less time was spent in day to day lectures and much more time was spent working independently, which encouraged good use of time management. The focus of the university allowed me to explore the many different niches within the singular subject of art history in a way that is not as readily avai... Yes--I learned to live in an unfamiliar major city entirely on my own, and I understand British people/culture a bit better now. jamiek - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Of course it was worthwhile. To suggest otherwise is completely ignorant of what it means to live in a foreign country for 5 months. I learned a lot about myself and how to be self-sufficient. A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review

About
The Courtauld, based in the heart of London, offers a lively Study Abroad Programme to students from all over the world who are currently enrolled on accredited degree programmes.
You can study for a full year programme from September to June, an autumn term programme from September to December or a spring semester programme from January to June.
Your classes will be assigned based on your academic standing and level of expertise. For example, students with relatively little knowledge of art history or who study abroad early in their academic careers usually join the first year of the programme, and those who have more experience of the subject and who are further along in their studies typically join the second year of the programme.
