Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It was a great educational experience. Instead of the traditional way of teaching in a classroom, this program followed a different way of teaching. We would actually go to museums and historical places to learn about those places. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The program size was pretty small with only 20 people. I expected to know a lot about my host country and I did learn it. The learning experience was great because it did not come from a book but it came from first hand experience. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
It was a very nice apartment for the 5 of us. Everything was great. It was right in the center of the city. The only downside probably was that the train station were a good 20 minutes walk away. Also, our group had to get separated because we lived on different apartments and they were all far way. |
* Food: |
Good food. Love food in Spain. Love paella. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
We got to experience what normal tourists don't. We got to have a guide with us. We went to places people did not really know of but those places were really important. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Health issue was not really a priority. But we were safe all the time. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

Language
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition? |

Comments: | Yes, it was challenging at times to know so much about a country I didn't know about. The teacher was always well-prepared and knowledgeable to any questions we had. I participated more often then I would in home institution because of the small size and interactive environment of the class. |
Credit Transfer Issues: | No. Because I was still taking classes from my college. |
