The most worthwhile. I gained life long friends, travel experience, personal growth, and valuable academic lessons. Leeann Passaro - Washington and Lee University View Entire Review
I truly learned how to look at things from other perspectives. Living with international students taught me valuable lessons that everyone views and sees things dramatically different sometimes. It was definitely worthwhile. Ryan - University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa View Entire Review

I learned that I am much more independent than I think I am. This allowed me to both improve my independence, as well as gain confidence in my ability to be independent. This will be a great skill to have when I am working and living on my own in the near future. Kira Goodwin - Gettysburg College View Entire Review
I became more independent and learned how to travel (before this, I had never traveled) Laura G - Gettysburg College View Entire Review
It was absolutely worthwhile. I learned so much about myself and Australia that I will always take with me. I would go back in a heartbeat. A student - Colorado College View Entire Review
Absolutely worthwhile. Future students, do not get yourself sucked into a group of strictly international or American friends. Do everything you can to put yourself in situations to meet locals, that's what the best experience of being abroad is. A student - Trinity University View Entire Review
About
What James Cook has to offer:

- Choose from two campuses:
- Townsville, in natural bushland that is home to wildlife such as cockatoos, kookaburras, scrub turkeys, wallabies and kangaroos. Townsville receives around 320 days of sunshine each year and is in easy reach of The Whitsunday Islands and Charters Towers.
- Cairns, surrounded by rainforest-covered hills is a popular North Queensland tourist attraction. Located 30 minutes from the beach, Cairns is also the adventure capital.
- Each campus offers a relaxing environment with extensive bike paths and local bus services to the central business districts of both cities
- Study in an unparalleled diverse physical environment
