What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained respect for the country and studying abroad in general. This program lit a fire in my belly and I went on to study abroad for a little over a year in two other countries.

Yes
The short program I as on was called crossroads of Japan. I gave an in depth look at the history of the Shiga Prefecture. I loved learning so much and being immersed in Japanese culture. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | You have to study as hard as if you were home. Even though you are in a foreign place, you can't surk your duties. You can still visit the area but don't slack off.Japanese studies are intense. |
