Konan University: Kobe - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

Interested students who are registered at universities not affiliated with Konan University may apply for admission to the university through normal academic procedures. International students are full-time, degree-seeking students, who meet Japanese entrance requirements for admission into an undergraduate, graduate, or research program at Konan University.

To enroll in a faculty of Konan University, students are required to pass the general entrance examination required for Japanese students. Students admitted into the university attend academic courses offered to Japanese students. Lectures are delivered in Japanese and therefore, students should have a fluency in the Japanese language before they enroll at Konan University.

The standard period of study for obtaining a degree is four years for Bachelor’s degree programs, two years for Master’s degree programs, and three years for Doctoral degree programs.
