Challenging, tons of fun, and worth it. Past Review
By Kayla W (English Language and Literature, St. Mary's College of Maryland) - abroad from 09/01/2015 to 12/12/2015 with
Middlebury Schools Abroad: Middlebury – CMRS Oxford Humanities Program
I learned how to live on my own in an unfamiliar place. It was very worthwhile.

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |

* Food: |
We had access to Keble dining hall, but I mostly cooked for myself. We had a kitchen and refrigerator and the administration was always happy to supply missing items from the kitchen. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I joined a church and a rowing team but because we were not living with Keble students I never felt like we were fully integrated. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I felt very well cared for. Insurance was taken care of and administration made sure all of the students knew where to go if we were feeling the least bit poorly. |
* Safety: |
|
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Things are expensive, but I made a budget so it worked out. |
