Overall Experience
September 09, 2025 Rigorous But Rewarding
I learned a lot about myself and the environments that I enjoy living and working in -- I thought Oxford's architecture was beautiful, but I did find myself missing the green space at my home institution and where I grew up. I also learned that I like being in a classroom environment/academic setting that involves interacting wi... - Wellesley College View Entire Review

August 09, 2024 Rigorous But Rewarding
This was my first time being in another country and that alone was an amazing experience, I think the Oxford academic experience was challenging but obviously worthwhile. I think if anyone is going to do this program, they should be very prepared for just how intense it is. I felt unprepared for how hard it was actually going to... - Middlebury College View Entire Review

While I am part of the majority of people who tend to roll their eyes when someone tells me their study abroad experience changed their life, I can now fully say that I understand the sentiment. I learned that while I appreciate rigor and learned a lot through my tutorials, I also really value interdisciplinary learning, group discussions with other students, and hands-on learning outside of the classroom. I'm glad to have experienced the tutorial system, but my main lesson from my experience abroad is that it's not the... - Wellesley College View Entire Review

My experience abroad was unlike that of my friends. I did not get to travel every weekend. I did not get to explore the city as much as I would have liked. I did not get to socialize that often throughout the week. However, I am a much better writer, reader, problem-solver, and overall student. While it was hard, I knew that it ... - Middlebury College View Entire Review
