I am so glad that I went and it was a perfect break from Middlebury life! June 29, 2022
By A student (IPE, Middlebury College) - abroad from 01/17/2022 to 04/16/2022 with
Middlebury Schools Abroad: Middlebury – CMRS Oxford Humanities Program
I think my writing definitely improved a lot! I also learned to plan my life with more agency. It was definitely worthwhile.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It is definitely a challenging and rewarding experience, and it will truly improve your writing skills. Half a star deducted for the lack of clarity about grade and performance in the middle of the course. The grading might sometimes be arbitrary and depend on your individual tutors. |

I ate out for most of my meals and it is important to learn to control your budget! |

|

|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
I ate out everyday and spent about 30 pounds on food. Not a great example and should've learned how to cook! |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 300-500 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Maybe make your own food and plan ahead! I think everything in the UK is about the same numerical price as it is in the US except it's in pounds. Not accurate but just for reference! |
