It was very worthwhile I met some of my best friends during the program and felt that I had the most meaningful academic experience I could have

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Oxford is an expensive city and a lot of the drinking culture is going out for pubs etc. so drink costs is often placed on top of food costs as well.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 150
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cook meals at home! We made a group of five and would swap off making dinner every night so it made it a lot easier and nice to eat dinner with everyone.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It is very very difficult to integrate into the Oxford student culture as we have no classes with them, limited to no exposure to students in the colleges and clubs typically had a large cost barrier.
