What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Engaged in cultural exchange with Chinese students and experienced life in China. It drastically changed my view of China and life in China. It was extremely worthwhile.

We often explored the city through classes and on our own, however, academically we weren't integrated into the greater university. We only took classes within our program, however, it would've been great to experience a class at the university with local students

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The only time I felt unsafe was crossing streets. The traffic patterns are chaotic and dangerous.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

We paid for all meals on our own, but it was extremely affordable on campus.
