Past Review Loving London
I learned how to budget and support myself more efficiently. I also learned so much from the British and International friends I made. We shared many cultural traditions and experiences with one another. I made life long friends in London that I feel very comfortable visiting any time and that I still talk to today! - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was amazing. Being abroad gave me such a newfound sense of confidence and independence. Living in a giant city like London by myself was well worth it and traveling solo throughout my time really enriched my experience. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

A bunch. Yes. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
It was a totally different experience from Wellesley which was valuable. It was definitely worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Travel and gaining cultural education is second to none. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
The most valuable thing I learned during my abroad experience was learning to be independent. Navigating a large city on my own and exploring unknown things really helped me learn that. It was definitely worthwhile because not only did I experience living like a Londoner but I also got to visit 7 other major European cities in t... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Ultimately, people can connect well, regardless of their cultural differences. In fact, differences make the relationship more dynamic and interesting. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned how to be independent. It was a great learning experience. Though I was living with other students, I was essentially alone, without my parents or friends. I also learned how to travel on my own and be comfortable exploring a new place on my own. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I was able to take classes abroad that I wouldn't have been able to at Middlebury. I also met a handful of people who I would never have met if it hadn't been for my time abroad, and I became much closer friends with another Middlebury student who was studying at the same university as I was. I would say just those friendships a... - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I gained a lot of insight into the thinking of people in the UK, going in an election year was great. I think it was worthwhile because I got to do many things that a lot of people never get to do. - Baylor University View Entire Review
I learned that it is very difficult to live abroad, even for somebody like myself who has traveled a lot, and is fairly comfortable in new surroundings. It was a very good experience, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
One of the biggest things I learned from this experience is that I am capable of traveling Europe, I am capable of leaving home for a period of time, I am capable of living on my own (albeit not well, but still I am capable!), and I am capable of making new friends in a different country. If nothing else, this experience was wor... - Marywood University View Entire Review
I gained friends who I will never forget and a new approach on social outlook. I learned that it is quite easy to live abroad. With a different university assessment system, more exploration of the city in which one lives is possible. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
A great cultural experience. Definitely worthwhile. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
It was just nice to get a new experience and a break from my home university. - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I very much enjoyed the study abroad experience as I got to meet lots of new friends of different background. It was interesting to see the different lifestyle and educational style between UK and US. Also, I had great opportunity of taking advantage of many museums in London by taking art history classes at Queen Mary. I really... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
